Interactive Route Maps -------------------------- Some of our route pages display interactive maps to visualise the moving route. These maps use the open-source **Leaflet** library (self-hosted on our server) with map tiles provided by **CARTO** and **OpenStreetMap**. When a map is loaded, your IP address is transmitted to the tile providers (CARTO and OpenStreetMap) so they can deliver the map imagery. No cookies are set and no tracking across sessions is performed by these services. Maps are lazy-loaded only when you scroll to them, so no data is transmitted unless you actively view a map.
